Highlights: MEP|FP design to renovate and expand existing data center including N+1 service upgrade. SE scope included 2,250 kw generator replacements, electrical service upgrade dual feed, main service transformer upgrades, pre-purchase of electrical and mechanical equipment, CRAC unit replacements, upgrades to rooftop glycol condensers and pump house, UPS system upgrades including (3) 500 KVA UPS systems, static switch for UPS equipment and arc flash /coordination study.

Challenges:  Expansion of data center while existing servers remained in use. Work included upgrades to normal, emergency and UPS power infrastructure.
