Design and Construction Management Services: MEP|FP design to modernize and upgrade the facility backup power system.

​

Highlights: SE designed two new 600KW generator, automatic transfer switches and distribution system.

Work included:

 

• A system short circuit and selective coordination studies identifying best switchgear design,

 

• Integrated generator backup system with the existing hospital critical and life safety loads,

 

• Fire alarm system with cloud-based testing, and

 

• Improved system resilience to unforeseen events by moving the new emergency plant to the building exterior, rerouting the distribution feeders.
